About me...Sue O'Connell
Welcome to Sandbach Craftworks, an arts and crafts studio which is in the heart of Sandbach, Cheshire.
We deliver workshops on Mixed Media, Card Making, Scrapbooking, Gelli Plate Printing, Art Journaling, Calm Creations, Wet and Dry Needle Felting, Cricut Instruction and hold Creative Kids Art Classes together with one off workshops throughout the week and at week-ends.
I write about what makes me happy and am a freelance demonstrator, crafty teacher and speaker, creating workshops and making bespoke cards, scrapbooks, journals and canvas art. I am vetted for the education sector.
I have been in the crafting industry for over 20 years starting as course creator and tutor, design team member, demonstrator, brand ambassador and published artist, teaching on-line and in person. I took the plunge at the end of 2023 to own my own studio to pass on my knowledge and love of anything crafty to other creative souls.
In crafting I have a few mantras ‘be yourself everyone else is taken’ – Oscar Wilde. 'There is no such thing as a bad piece of art', you can always add something to cover up sections or add dimension. At the end of the day most of your makes are made from materials which can be repurposed.
Welcome to your journey into everything art.

You can follow my online expeditions on Instagram (@sandbachcraftworks) and through my Facebook page (sandbachcraftworks) and learn about what we offer at our studio.
